DESCRIPTION:This October marks the 20th anniversary of the Chippewa Falls High School Marching Cardinals bus accident- a tragedy that deeply impacted our community and forever changed the lives of students\, families\, and friends. Together\, we gather not only to remember the lives lost\, but also to honor the resilience\, strength\, and spirit that carried the CFHS Marching Band forward to this day.\nPlease make plans to stop by\, share a story and reconnect.\nDonations: Contributions are welcome and appreciated and will support the Chippewa Falls High School music program through the Greenhalgh Memorial Music Endowment managed by the Community Foundation of Chippewa County. Donations are optional and not a requirement for attendance.

DESCRIPTION:MORE THAN JUST A RACE. Welcome to the Loop de Lori Triathlon & 5K! This organization was started as a fundraiser in honor of Lori Kleich to help people with cancer that choose the naturopath route to supplement their care. The triathlon includes a 3.4 mile trail run\, 14 mile bike ride\, and 3.5 mile kayak or you can sign up to run the 5k. All skill levels\, ages\, and families are welcome to participate! Even if you just want to take a leisurely walk for the 5K\, you can do that! All proceeds benefit the Lori Kleich Endowment Fund for natural & alternative cancer care for mind\, body & soul.
