Meg Ann Lee: 3 Easy DIY Coffee Drinks You Need To Try

Anyone else a coffee addict?

I used to hit the Starbucks drive through on the regular but spending $6, 3x a week for a year, is $936! That’s almost a whole G you’re spending on coffee.

You want to know what else is just under 1G? A 4 day all inclusive hotel stay in Playa del Carmen flight & hotel included (subject to change by date).

In the hustle of our world today, I don’t know how I would survive without a little caffeine boost! So I’m going to share with you guys 3 coffee recipes you can make at home to save some bucks and some of my favorite coffee accessories!

First up is the new hyped up Brown Sugar Oat milk Shaken Iced Coffee from Starbucks! Let me tell you it’s worth the hype!

I love trying the new drinks and attempting to recreate them at home. For my Iced coffee I love having “Coffee Cubes” on hand so the ice doesn’t  water down my coffee. Here is my process!

Ingredients:
Coffee
Brown Sugar
Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup
Ground Cinnamon
Coffee Ice Cubes
Oat Milk

The next one is a Vanilla Bean Macchiato. In the morning I’m usually a hot drink kind of gal and Vanilla is my go-to flavor! Adding in some steamed milk, a little vanilla cafe powder and I’m set!

You can add or subtract different ingredients that work best for you and your diet; obviously I’m a HUGE oat milk fan.

Ingredients: Oat milk
Vanilla Bean syrup
Vanilla Extract
French Vanilla Cafe powder
Espresso
Honey

Last but not least, is a Chocolate Protein Frappé for all my blended drink lovers!

This one is a bit of a challenge to achieve the right consistency. I recommend using protein powder, jello pudding mix or ice cream to add some thickness!

Ingredients:
Ice
Coffee
Protein powders
Coffee grounds
Oat Milk

I love my De’Longhi coffee/espresso maker duo purchased at Target. It was for sure an investment but being someone who drinks coffee daily I justified it.

If you don’t have an espresso maker, you can double the strength of your coffee by using ½ the water, doubling your grounds or buying it concentrated, I love the Chameleon Cold Brew for this option . My machine does have a milk steamer however if you’re looking for the frothiness without the price tag get one of these frothers! Seriously makes my regular cup of Joe 10 times more boujie in 3 seconds.

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my blog posts. I hope you are sufficiently caffeinated and saving up for a sunny beach vacation !! <3
