Legends of the 715: Brad Radke

One of the most popular and successful players in Minnesota Twins history was born right here in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Brad Radke, a former All-Star pitcher and member of the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame, was born on October 27th 1972. He later went on and graduated high school in Tampa, Florida. He accepted a scholarship to play baseball at South Florida.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 8th round 1991 amateur draft and made his Twins debut in 1995.

Radke would go on to pitch for the Twins through 2006 and finish his career with the team that drafted him. He was known as one of the better control pitchers in the league during his playing days.

He finished his career with a 148 wins and 139 losses, a 4.22 era, and 1,467 strikeouts. He appeared in the 1998 all-star game and is a member of the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame.
