Keep Chasing Those Dreams

“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!”

No doubt you’ve probably heard that Christmas song many times already this year. But truer words were never spoken. This is the most wonderful time of year and it is the most magical time of the year.

Especially when it comes to children. Seeing that extra twinkle in their eyes and their excitement when it comes to opening a Christmas gift. Even adults turn into kids again when it comes to this time of the year.

As the writer Laura Ingalls Wilder said it best when she once said: “We are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”

And we just experienced that recently.

Let me introduce you to Isaiah. Isaiah is a 10-year old boy who has a deep passion and love for skiing. He is a member of the Flying Eagles Ski Club in Eau Claire. He goes to many different tournaments and events, but those can get expensive. But because Isaiah has that deep passion and love for skiing, he works is tail off so that he can continue to ski, including running lemonade stands in the summer.

Well this Christmas, we wanted to help Isaiah and his family continue to help Isaiah chase those dreams and passions. We wanted to give him a scholarship.

And like Christmas morning opening gifts, the excitement and that twinkle in his eye was evident. See for yourself in the video below.

We were able to help out Isaiah and his family because of you reading this blog right now through Backyard Dreams. Backyard Dreams is Sports Talk 105.1/790 AM’s charitable entity. One of Backyard Dreams main goals is to help people chase and achieve their goals, dreams, and passions. But Backyard Dreams wouldn’t be possible without the amazing people who support Backyard Dreams and its mission to help those chase and accomplish their dreams, goals, and passions.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year when we can see a childs face (and their parents) light up with excitement. To see dreams and passions still alive and burning. To seeing people coming together to help.

Keep dreaming everyone. Keep chasing those passions.
