Where to Bring Your Pup this Summer

Our four-legged friends deserve the best summer ever too, so why not get them out and about for some local summer fun? Here’s a list of places that are pet-friendly around the 715.

Outdoor Concerts

Outdoor concerts often allow dogs, so check out an outdoor music event and bring along your pooch! The 715 has plenty to offer, including weekly music at Phoenix Park and River Prairie. Check out all of the events here.

The Brewing Projekt

The Brewing Projekt is the perfect place to have a drink with your dog, because not only do they have a lawn to relax on, but they also allow dogs inside the brewery. Grab a craft brew, enjoy the ambiance and river views with your pup beside you!

Fairfax Doggie Swim Fest

Fairfax Pool hosts a howling time at the end of their season where they allow dogs to come and swim in the pool. This year, it’s Sunday, August 27th, and will cost $5 per dog. Make sure your pooch is up to date on vaccinations and splash away!

Chippewa Falls Dog Swim

Bring your dogs to the public pool in Chippewa Falls on August 23rd from 4-7pm to swim away the summer! The cost is $5 per dog, and you must bring proof of rabies vaccination.

Dogs of Menomonie Photo Days

Check out Brewery Nonic’s Brewery Dogs of Menomonie Photo Days event, where you can enter for a chance to have your pet featured in their calendar! Photos can be taken on Sundays, either June 9th, 11th, or 18th. Voting will take place in July. Good luck to your pup!

Eau Claire’s Off-Leash Dog Parks

Check out Eau Claire’s off-leash dog parks for plenty of space to exercise your well-behaved dog. Otter Creek Off-Leash Dog Park, Sundet Off-Leash Dog Park, and Southwest Off-Leash Dog Park offer small dog areas, water stations, and large fenced-in areas for your dog to play.

Menomonie Dog Park

Offering a walking trail and a small dog area, the Menomonie Dog Park is a great option for your dog to play outside.

Happy Tails Dog Park

The Happy Tails Dog Park in Chippewa Falls is one of the biggest dog parks in the area. Enjoy 60+ acres of off-leash fun. They have areas for all kinds of dogs and a water station, and it’s funded by daily and annual passes. Let your pooch play!
