The Golden Globes 2024 : Hair, Makeup and Style Trends

One reason I love watching celebs on the red carpet or on reality television is to see their fashion and makeup choices. This past week we saw all the soft hair styles, ballet-core outfits and glowy makeup at the Golden Globes.

I am Meg Ann Lee and I’m back this week discussing all the hair, makeup, and style trends I loved seeing from the Golden Globes. Watching what the celebs are wearing at these events often foreshadows what we will be seeing within the year where you and I shop. The overall vibe was classic, “soft girl era”, with an elegant influence.

Makeup

 

We have been living in a “no makeup” makeup era since 2020 and we saw that natural glam still going strong at the 2024 Golden Globes. The faces were soft, effortless, and fresh!

Hair

 

I LOVED the hair from this event because it can easily be translated into everyday hair styles! Everything was soft Hollywood waves, shiny hair flips and classic low buns. AKA, Not overdone.

Outfits

The “soft girl” aesthetic wasn’t just reflected in makeup. It spilled into the fashion choices as well. We saw classic lace, floral prints and tailored silhouettes. The fashion was very bridal-core and ballet chic.
