Spring 2024 Haircare Favorites

Hey everyone, it’s Meg Ann Lee. One thing I love about the seasons changing is that our haircare routines change too! This week I’m sharing some of my current favorite hair care items, why I love them and where you can find them.

Dry Shampoo

One product we are loving at the salon right now is Good Ass Hair Day dry shampoo. It’s a non-aerosol and it’s local to Eau Claire. You can find it at our salon, Moss, or visit their website HERE.

Styling

Adding texture with a little hold is key right now for my favorite styling products.  I am loving the Amika Plus Size mousse for volume. Want to add texture? The Amika Undone texture spray is amazing for a little extra grip.

Acidic Haircare

Acidic haircare is all the rage in 2024. Redken came out with a wholel line dedicated to this. Why Acidic-Based Products? Acidic-based hair products play a vital role in maintaining the pH balance of your scalp and hair. Our hair’s natural pH level ranges from 4.5 to 5.5, making it slightly acidic. However, factors like hot styling tools and chemical treatments can disrupt this balance, leading to dryness, frizz, and overall damage.

Shine Treatments

Heathy hair is another huge trend we have been hearing in 2024. Having shiny hair is an indicator of just that! Shine treatments are an amazing way to tame frizz and keep your hair feeling fresh. If you wear hair extensions, you NEED THIS!

All products are linked but if you have a Salon or hairstylist you are dedicated to buy from them! Check out this blog post to see why buying from your local salon is the best place to buy product.

Whether you’re seeking to tame frizz, enhance shine, or protect your hair color, incorporating acidic-based products into your spring haircare routine can work wonders for your locks. Remember to consult with a professional hairstylist or dermatologist if you have specific concerns or conditions, and enjoy the journey to healthier, happier hair this spring <3
