Soul of the Outdoors Book Talk by Dave Greschner

Dave Greschner will be sharing from his book, “Soul of the Outdoors.” He takes the reader along in experiencing and unveiling nature in its raw openness and intricacies. He explores and describes how the natural world can connect with our emotions, feelings, and outlook on life.

Dave grew up on a dairy farm in northwest Wisconsin, graduating from Prairie Farm High School, then majoring in journalism at UW-Eau Claire.
He worked at the Rice Lake (WI) weekly newspaper for 44 years, first as a general reporter, followed by more than 40 years as a sports/outdoors writer, editor and photographer, earning 20 first place state awards in the Wisconsin Newspaper Assn., in addition to a National Newspaper Assn. first place for column writing.
After retiring in 2020, he continued writing a weekly outdoors column for the Rice Lake Chronotype, Eau Claire Leader-Telegram and Ashland Daily Press, in addition to a blog, davegreschneroutdoorjournal.org
