The Gospel Singer: A Tribute to The Gospel Music of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash

Jonathan Lyons captures the true sound, feel, and embodiment of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley in concert. Gospel music was an important part of the lives and music of both Johnny Cash and Elvis. Both men grew up in religious families with mothers who instilled in them a love of Gospel Music. Jonathan uses his natural voice and guitar playing to bring to life the gospel music that was recorded by these music legends. Musical selections include How Great Thou Art (Elvis), It Was Jesus (Cash), and I’ll Fly Away (Cash).
